Redfest roundup

RCCC had a stand at Redfest this year and found it rewarding to engage with community and business people.  It was great to discuss the benefits of being part of the RCCC as an advocate for local businesses.  Seeing people understand the importance of buying local and the impact of keeping money in our community to enable businesses to employ local.  The feedback was positive and we will explore the possibility of combining the Redlands Business Expo with Redfest in 2018 as a community interactive event.

Help us seek support from all sides of Queensland politics to improve the economic transition package to make up for the loss of mining on Straddie in 2019 – it is not far away and we need to take action now.  The funding will be used to help create new industries, sustainable businesses and jobs on the Straddie.
